Clubhouse Transportation
Transportation Overview
SSCV provides structured transportation support for athletes traveling between school, the clubhouse, and on-snow training venues. Our goal is to ensure athletes arrive safely, on time, and prepared for training each day.
Transportation services vary by program, training schedule, and athlete needs. Details are communicated directly by program staff throughout the season.
How Transportation Works
- Transportation is coordinated based on training schedules and program level
- Pick-up and drop-off locations are communicated by coaches or program directors
- Athletes are expected to be ready and on time for all scheduled transport
- Routes and timing may adjust based on weather and training conditions
Who Uses Transportation
Transportation is primarily available for full-time and select part-time programs, depending on training times and locations.
- Full-Time Athletes (daily training schedules)
- Select Part-Time Programs (based on availability)
- Athletes training at multiple venues (Golden Peak, Nordic venues, etc.)
Pick-up and drop-off locations are program-specific and may include:
- SSCV Clubhouse
- Partner Schools (VSSA, VMS, etc.)
- Designated training venues
- Pre-determined community locations
Final schedules and locations are shared directly with families prior to the start of the season.
Athlete Expectations
- Be on time and ready at your assigned location
- Bring all required equipment and gear
- Follow coach and staff instructions during transport
- Respect teammates, staff, and transportation vehicles
Weather & Schedule Adjustments
Mountain conditions and weather may impact transportation timing and routes. SSCV staff will communicate any changes as early as possible.
Flexibility is essential during the winter season, and adjustments are made with athlete safety as the top priority.
