I am excited to announce that Margaret Rule accepted the role of Member Services Manager with SSCV, effective June 23, 2014.

Margaret holds a B.A from Michigan State University and is relocating to Eagle County from Bloomfield, Michigan. Since graduating from MSU she has worked in Michigan and in Durango, Colorado, in tutoring, youth counseling and student teaching positions. Margaret has also worked for her family’s company in Michigan focusing on project management, generating and updating procedures and procedural documentation, and general administrative support.

Margaret has spent time in the Vail Valley on winter trips with her family and she developed an interest in SSCV. She has shown a high level of passion for the mission of the club and is eager to start working to support the staff, athletes and membership in her new role. Margaret was a competitive volleyball player and then a volleyball club coach growing up and she has an appreciation for the challenges and rewards that accompany the athletes and the staff.

In her new role Margaret will be responsible for providing the highest level of customer support to our athletes, staff, members and others involved with SSCV. Her duties will include oversight of member services, back end website and databases, HR/Employment processing and related operational support.

Margaret is taking over for Maria Pavese, who sadly is leaving SSCV and relocating to the Colorado Front Range. In her time with SSCV, Maria led a number of initiatives including the adaption of a new website, integration of the CampMinder member database and countless other process improvements and operational projects. We have enjoyed and appreciated Maria’s intelligence, dedication and support of the club. Maria’s last official day at SSCV was June 30, but she continued to provide support for Margaret and the club through July 15.

Please join me in welcoming Margaret to SSCV!
