Parade volunteers are needed! Click here to view volunteer positions.

Items needed for the floats:

  • Please bring candy or other small items to pass out to the crowd.  All candy and misc. items will be shared with all to pass out.
  • 4th of July decorations for the float

What to wear:

  • Red, white and blue, any medals that you’d like to wear, fun sunglasses or googles and fun hats.  (Don’t forget to wear sunscreen)

Age Limits: All volunteers under the age of 12 MUST have parental or other guardian supervision during the work hours and to ride on the float. Parents can ride if room is available or walk behind the float. Appropriate behavior is required at all times.

Minturn Parade: All volunteers please meet at Vail Ski & Snowboard Academy (Old Minturn Middle School)

Vail Parade: Please meet at Ski & Snowboard Club Vail.  Pick up for athletes after parade at Gold Peak Children’s Center.  SSCV Parking will be closed
