Vail, Col. January 19, 2021: Nordic U14 and under athletes (year of birth 2007 and younger) were excited to don their Arrigoni Woods and Nature Valley sponsored bibs once again to compete in day one of the second Nordic Town Series race of the season on Tuesday, January 19 at Maloit Park in Minturn. The socially distanced 2 kilometer loop for the younger athletes and 2.5 kilometer loop for the older athletes challenged the field as they battled the steep uphills on their skate skis and flew down through the finish. 

Hosted by Ski & Snowboard Club Vail, the second Nordic Town Series was structured as a two day event, in an effort to maximize the number of athletes able to compete. Capped at 75 athletes per day, U16 and above athletes (year of birth 2006 and older) are competing on Wednesday, January 20 in a 5k race.
