Sunny, warm weather and a quality venue made the perfect setting for the U10 Championships in Telluride, Colorado this past weekend. Eight and nine-year old alpine age class racers from throughout Colorado as well as Flagstaff, Arizona gathered together for this fun, season culminating event to compete in both Slalom and Giant Slalom.
This past Saturday Ski & Snowboard Club Vail’s (SSCV) Youth Ski League (YSL) athletes competed in a YSL slalom race in Beaver Creek amidst a field of approximately 150 racers from Vail and nearby race clubs.
Ski & Snowboard Club Vail (SSCV) U16 alpine racers were a dominant force at the United States Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) Rocky Central U16 Regional Championships in Steamboat Springs this past week, taking 22 of the top five podium spots across four events.
Ski & Snowboard Club Vail Qualifies 14 Alpine Racers to Prestigious U18 Nationals Vail, CO-March 6, 2015 – The top U18 alpine racers in the United States (1997 and 1998 birth years) qualified to compete in U18 National Championships, a week long United States Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) sanctioned event which just ended at Copper Mountain Ski Resort.
