Ski & Snowboard Club Vail is thrilled to learn that the U.S. Forest Service has released a favorable draft decision with regard to the Golden Peak Improvement Project. We are excited to be entering into the final stage of the approval process and would like to thank Vail Resorts and the U.S. Forest Service for their support over these many years.
The Golden Peak Improvement Project will create the single-best training venue in the United States. The expanded terrain will provide a higher-quality, safer and more productive training environment for our athletes, allowing families to save on travel expenses while providing an economic benefit to the Vail community.
While Friday’s decision is certainly a positive step forward, we are eagerly awaiting final approval from the U.S. Forest Service and Vail Resorts.
