FREESKI (P&P) WEEKLY PLAN JAN. 13-19th
Hello all,
It has been an incredible cycle of snowstorms here in Colorado. It’s been great skiing! However, it has made it difficult for athlete trying to compete at the slopestyle event or for training big jumps. Also, our airbag jump is ready and waiting… but the VR forkcat is out of commission and it cannot put our airbag up on the hill just yet. (Stay tuned, It will be fixed soon!)
This is the weekly plan. As usual for this time of year, we have many things going on simultaneously. Please read carefully 🙂

THE SHOW MUST GO ON! 1/10/14
Hello my Vail Peeps and Visting friends,
The USSA Halfpipe event scheduled for tomorrow is still on! The Vail park crew has cut the halfpipe once already and will cut the halfpipe again later tonight in the hopes of clearing out the flat bottom the best they can. The heavier snowfall is suppose to taper off after midnight.
More Volunteers Needed!
We need slippers! So if you have any parents out there that could help, that would be hugely appreciated. (The majority of slipping needs to happen in the morning, between 8:30am – 10:30am, but do need slipper all day.) Please check-in with Lauren Milligan. She is our head volunteer. She can get you on hill and/or your points for helping out with volunteerism!
If we need to extend training to make sure everything is slipped for the competitors, get proper (and coaches get a quick pow run) we can extend training! I think we ail have the extra time. There are 30competitors registered so far. We should have plenty of time for 3runs – First 2 runs are a comp and the third run is a separate comp.
If you are not participating in the HP competition tomorrow, meet your regular Vail coach at regular time – 9:00am up behind SSCV.
