Nick Kirwood was among four athletes who represented Ski & Snowboard Club Vail and the U.S. at the Whistler Cup in British Columbia last week.

Kirwood led the team with a podium third-place result in the slalom. Locals Toby Scarpella, Kjersti Moritz and Tianna Bruce were among those selected to race for the U.S. The Whistler Cup is the premier ski race in the world for athletes born in 2004, with 21 countries represented, including the U.S., Canada and Norway.
