Over 65 Nordic competitors of varying ages and abilities gathered at the Vail Nordic Center on January 11 for the first of four Vail Nordic Town Series races sponsored by Arrigoni Woods, Groove Auto and Keep Driving Foundation and presented by Ski & Snowboard Club Vail.  Results available here.  Many thanks to the Vail Nordic Center for hosting this event and for Phunkshunwear for providing prizes for the top performers.  Don’t miss out on the next family-oriented event for adults and children of all abilities on January 25 at Maloit Park in Minturn.  The 1km and 3km races start at 4:30 pm and a 5km option starts at 5:00 pm.  Bring your headlamp!  All are Nordic freestyle events.  Details at https://www.vailtownseries.com/.
