This past Sunday, January 31, Ski & Snowboard Club Vail hosted a Steadman Clinic Vail Cup Giant Slalom and Moguls competition for athletes birth year 2000 and younger. Sunday’s events were the second of a four part complimentary series for local and visiting youth. Over 85 athletes took part in this event at Vail Mountain despite the heavy snowfall the night before. Whether charging down a giant slalom course at Golden Peak or catching air off a jump in a moguls course on Black Forest last Sunday as pictured below, fun was had by all! It’s not too late for children to join in on the fun for the rest of the complimentary series on February 14 (Halfpipe and Slopestyle) and March 6 (Little Big Mountain and Giant Slalom).
