Anje is returning to SSCV after working as the Rocky/Central Youth Coach and Coordinator for the U.S. Ski Team. In this role, she was integral in developing and leading camps and events for the region and division, as well as national projects for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard development program. These projects helped set the foundation of fundamentals that has propelled the Rocky/Central region as a leading force across the country.

Anje grew up skiing and racing thru college in the Western Region. Passionate for skiing, mountains, and the outdoors, she started her coaching career working at the Bridger Ski Foundation in Montana as Youth Director, and realized her love for teaching athletes. In 1995, she moved to Colorado to coach at the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club as a FIS coach. Since then, she has coached the last 25+ years athletes of all ages and levels of racing, from FIS Nor-Am athletes to youth athletes at several programs in Colorado, including Team Summit, personal coach to Alice McKennis, Crested Butte Academy, and again at the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, as the clubs first female Alpine Competitive Director, before moving to the Vail valley in 2011.

Anje has coached at numerous U.S. Ski Team projects throughout the years, led U.S. Ski and Snowboard coach’s clinics, Skills Quest clinics, and has served several terms on committees for the Rocky/Central region, and RMD division. She hopes to instill a life long LOVE of the sport to each of the athletes she coaches, as well as helping them achieve their goals. Anje is excited to be moving into a position at SSCV to spend more time at home with her husband Rob, and two sons, Zane and Cody.
