My time in Rumford has been amazing. To be back at this place (it was my home collegiate course), brings comfort to my racing. We have had quite the crew here of Dan Weiland, Christian Shanley, Max Burnell and myself. I have never had the results at a National Championships like I have had this week. I established myself as a top-10 American. With the Olympics 4 years away, this is a good thing to know. I was very happy with my classic race placing 11th in a technique in which I wouldn’t usually see myself placing that well. I topped that yesterday by skating to a 10th place amont the fastest Nordic skiers in the US. It has been a great trip so far and we have one more to go tomorrow. The skate sprint should be an interesting one. I have yet to make it through the qaurterfinals in a skate sprint so my goal is to make it to the A or B final tomorrow.

Slyvain!
