Ski & Snowboard Club Vail racers shine at National Performance Series in Aspen

Wednesday's Vail Summit Orthopaedics Town Series was off to a great "start" with a large field of lower and middle school participants in the first race of the evening followed by the high schoolers and adults.  It's not too late to take part in the February 3 and March 19 races.

Getting Started and Olympic Dreams When asked, I always recommend that parents enroll their children in Ski & Snowboard Club Vail’s (SSCV) season long Future Stars weekend program at the youngest possible age of six (assuming they can get on and off the lift by themselves and ski or ride Golden Peak).

It is the time of year when many are focused on that New Year’s resolution to adopt a healthier lifestyle, get in shape and/or achieve a higher level of performance in their favorite sport.

The Steadman Clinic Vail Cup hosted by Ski & Snowboard Club Vail kicked off on Sunday with the first of a four part complimentary competition series for athletes birth year 2000 and younger at Golden Peak.

During my time at Ski & Snowboard Club Vail (SSCV) our most impassioned discussions have evolved around providing opportunities for the children of our community to fulfill their snow sports dreams without being hindered by their family’s financial means.
