Legacy & Values

SSCV’s Snowboard Program has placed numerous athletes on various national teams, including U.S. Ski & Snowboard. Over the past few seasons, SSCV has seen middle school, high school and postgraduate athletes achieve at the highest levels in youth competition. In the 2021-2022 season six current and former SSCV snowboard athletes qualified for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing and six current and former SSCV athletes were nominated for the 2023-2024 U.S. Snowboard Team. 

In addition, during the 2023-2024 season SSCV snowboard athletes achieved a 1st place at Jr. Worlds, 2nd place at Youth Olympics, and four 1st place NorAm finishes with a total of 11 podiums.  Two more member of our SSCV Snowboard Team have been added to the U.S. Rookie Slopestyle Team for the 2024-2025 season.  Current to date, SSCV has six kids on the U.S. Snowboard Rookie Team between Slopestyle and halfpipe.  At the 2024 National Championships SSCV saw 8 podium finishes and 14 top 10 finishes, resulting in lots of invitations to the US Team Gold Camp.  Our athletes have gone on to win national and professional titles and some have even gone on to compete at the Olympics and X Games level.
