Snowboard Mini Shreds (1, 2 and 3 day) | Ages 6-12

On-Snow Dates: December 4, 2020 to March 28, 2021

Riding days & times: Saturday & Sunday 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. / Friday 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

  • On-snow dates are weather dependent.

Meeting place: Golden Peak Clubhouse

Program Bonus Days:

  • Trampoline nights: December 4, 2020 – March 26, 2021 on Friday nights from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at VSSA in Minturn
  • For National qualifying athletes only — Bonus Days: a few days prior to as well as at USASA Nationals or IFSA Nationals for those athletes who qualify for these events
  • Free entry into and coaching at local Vail Cup on select Sundays

 

Snowboard Mini Shreds | 1-day | Saturday

The Mini Shreds one-day program meets on Saturday and serves as an entry level program. We will focus on developing well-rounded riding, foster competition exposure, provide access to our trampoline facility and have a ton of fun!

Program Fees:

Non-Resident Fee: $3, 690

Colorado Resident Fee: $3,210

Plus $100 Membership Fee

Volunteer Point Requirement: You are required to complete the following volunteer points: 60 points

**If your family has more than one athlete, your points will be that of the athlete with the higher balance**

**Contributions of $5,000 or more on an unrestricted basis to SSCV’s Annual Campaign make the volunteer commitment optional.  If a family does not complete all of its volunteer obligations during the period from May 1, 2020 through April 30, 2021 they will be required to pay an amount to SSCV by May 30, 2021 equal to 20% of the program fees for each child enrolled at SSCV for the 2020-2021 season.

Uniform program for part-time athletes: Part-time athletes are strongly encouraged to take part in our uniform program. Click here for instructions on how to purchase a snowboard uniform.

**SSCV Program Fees include only regular season on-snow training at Vail and Beaver Creek (and for snowboard, freeski park and pipe and big mountain athletes at SSCV Summit County training areas and for Nordic athletes within the Vail Valley) and regular season strength and conditioning in the Vail Valley. SSCV Program Fees exclude all other fees and charges, such as but not limited to the following: early season and late season training and transportation fees and charges, all camps, all ski passes and lift tickets at all mountains, all competition entry fees, all travel, room and board charges, all governing body and association fees, all coach expenses during travel, all van fees (other than in state van fees back and forth to training or competition) and all team jackets and apparel.

Snowboard Mini Shreds | 2-day | Saturday & Sunday

The Mini Shreds two-day program meets on Saturday and Sunday and is designed to be a stronger step up from  the Mini Shreds 1 day program. Athletes often chose this program in their second year with the club. In this program, we will focus on well-rounded riding, as well as encourage competition both at Vail Cup and the USASA local Rocky Mountain Series. We will provide access to our trampoline facility and have a ton of fun!

Program Fees:

Non-Resident Fee: $5,270

Colorado Resident Fee: $4,580

Plus $100 Membership Fee

The Mini-Shreds three-day program meets on Saturday and Sunday, plus a half day on Friday afternoon. We would like to offer young athletes who are passionate about the sport the opportunity to ride 1/2 day during the week and/or travel with us to pre-­comp training sessions. In this program, we will focus on well-rounded riding and specific skills development. We will provide access to our trampoline facility and have a ton of fun!

Program Fees:

Non-Resident Fee: $6,260

Colorado Resident Fee: $5,440

Plus $100 Membership Fee
